Boy, 11, stabbed and critically wounded in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood

An 11-year-old boy was stabbed and critically injured in the Englewood neighborhood Thursday night.

Police were called at 8:11 p.m. to the 200 block of West 66th Street. They found the boy at the scene with multiple stab wounds to the chest.

The boy was taken to the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.

No one was in custody late Thursday. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.
