Body Found Floating In Chicago River Near Michigan Avenue

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A body was found floating in the Chicago River under the DuSable Bridge at Michigan Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Police said at 1:50 p.m., the Marine Unit responded to a call of an unresponsive person under the Michigan Avenue Bridge.

Responding officers recovered the body of a 26-year-old man, police said.

The Fire Department said the man found was not someone who jumped from the bridge.

The Riverwalk near the bridge was temporarily closed.
