Fire damages Blue Station Apartments in Blue Island

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A fire broke out at apartments in Blue Island Monday morning. 

Firefighters were able to control the fire at Blue Station Apartments where flames started on the awning before spreading. 

Smoke was seen rising from a hole in the roof.

It is still not clear if anyone was inside at the time or if there were any injuries.
