Blackhawks Trade Ryan Garbutt To Ducks For Jiri Sekac

(CBS) The Blackhawks have traded forward Ryan Garbutt to the Ducks for forward Jiri Sekac, the team announced Thursday.

The 23-year-old Sekac has a goal and two assists in 22 games this season with the Ducks.

Chicago dealt Garbutt, who was traded to the Blackhawks from the Stars in the deal that sent Patrick Sharp to Dallas. Garbutt had two goals and four assists in 43 games this season, working largely on the team's lower lines.

With the trade, the Blackhawks have now dealt both players acquired in the Sharp trade. The team also traded defenseman Trevor Daley to Pittsburgh in exchange for defenseman Rob Scuderi.

The Blackhawks take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday in a Stanley Cup Final rematch.
