Blackhawks Sign Viktor Svedberg To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed defenseman Viktor Svedberg to a one-year deal, they announced Wednesday.

The 24-year-old Svedberg had 14 points (three goals, 11 assists) in 49 regular-season games at AHL Rockford last season. A native of Sweden, Svedberg was originally signed by Chicago in October 2013.
