Blackhawks Sign Goalie Mac Carruth To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed goalie Mac Carruth to a one-year deal, they announced Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Carruth split the 2015-'16 season between the Indy Fuel of the East Coast Hockey League and the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In Rockford, he was 6-5-2 with a 2.30 goals against average and a .926 save percentage.

The Blackhawks selected Carruth in the seventh round of the 2010 draft.
