Blackhawks Sign F Joakim Nordstrom To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Joakim Nordstrom to a one-year deal, they announced Wednesday afternoon.

Terms of the deal weren't immediately known. The contract runs through the end of the 2015-'16 season.

The 23-year-old Nordstrom had three assists in 38 regular-season games last season. He also appeared in three postseason games. Nordstrom had 16 points in 23 games at AHL Rockford as well.
