Blackhawks Sign Alexandre Fortin, Trim Training Camp Roster To 57

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed forward Alexandre Fortin to a three-year contract, they announced Sunday.

The 19-year-old Fortin had 43 points in 54 regular-season games for Rouyn-Noranda in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. He's a Laval, Quebec native who went undrafted.

On Monday, the Blackhawks trimmed their training camp roster to 57 players by releasing forwards Radovan Bondra, John Dahlstrom, Nathan Noel and Roy Radke.
