Blackhawks Send Gustav Forsling, Spencer Abbott To AHL Rockford

(CBS) The Blackhawks have assigned defenseman Gustav Forsling and forward Spencer Abbott to AHL Rockford.

Forsling has one goal and three assists in 32 games for Chicago this season. Abbott played Thursday for the Blackhawks after being recalled earlier in the week.

The Blackhawks host the Hurricanes on Friday night at the United Center.
