Blackhawks Recall Vinnie Hinostroza, Assign Tanner Kero To Rockford

(CBS) Without a win in their last five contests, the Blackhawks made a move Friday looking for a spark.

Chicago has recalled forward Vinnie Hinostoza from AHL Rockford. In a corresponding move, the Blackhawks assigned forward Tanner Kero to Rockford.

Hinostoza, 23, had 14 points in 49 games for the Blackhawks in 2016-'17. He leads the Icehogs with 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) in 23 assists this season.

Kero, 25, had recorded three points in eight games for the Blackhawks this season.
