Blackhawks Recall Klas Dahlbeck, Send Down Adam Clendening

(CBS) The Blackhawks have recalled defenseman Klas Dahlbeck from AHL Rockford and sent defenseman Adam Clendening down, they announced late Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old Dahlbeck hasn't yet appeared in an NHL game. He has six points and a +4 plus/minus rating with the Icehogs this season. He was drafted by the Blackhawks in the third round of the 2011 draft.

The 22-year-old Clendening recorded two points in four games for the Blackhawks this season after making his debut on Nov. 20 at Calgary. He was a healthy scratch for each of the last three games. Clendening was Chicago's second-round pick in the 2011 draft.

The Blackhawks return to action Friday when they host the Montreal Canadiens at 7:30 p.m.
