Blackhawks Re-Sign Dennis Rasmussen To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have agreed to terms with defenseman Dennis Rasmussen on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old Rasmussen registered four goals and five assists in 44 regular-season games.

Veteran defenseman Brian Campbell could join the mix, too, with sources telling the Chicago Tribune that Campbell would be open to re-joining the Blackhawks.

The NHL's free agency period officially begins July 1.
