Blackhawks Place Marian Hossa On Injured Reserve, Call Up Vincent Hinostroza

(CBS) The Chicago Blackhawks placed winger Marian Hossa on injured reserve and recalled center Vincent Hinostroza from the Rockford IceHogs, they announced Sunday.

Hossa, 37, suffered an apparent leg injury following a hit by Anaheim Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm on Saturday night. Hossa has 10 goals and 18 assists in 54 games this season.

Hinostroza, 21, has played in four games this season with the Blackhawks, making his NHL debut on Oct. 17 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has 10 goals and 17 assists in 41 games with Rockford this season.
