Blackhawks' Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews Selected For NHL All-Star Game

(CBS) Two Blackhawks have been chosen for the NHL All-Star Game: winger Patrick Kane and center Jonathan Toews.

Kane has a league-leading 59 points (23 goals, 36 assists), while Toews has 26 points (14 goals, 12 assists), which is fourth on the team. This is the fifth All-Star selection for Kane and Toews, though Toews missed one of the contests with an injury.

The All-Star Game will be held in Nashville on Jan. 31. It's in the format of a three-game tournament, featuring teams from each of the league's four divisions playing three-on-three hockey. Kane and Toews are representing the Central Division.
