Blackhawks Make Minor Trade, Swapping AHL Players With Hurricanes

(CBS) On the day of the trade deadline, the Blackhawks did make another deal -- their most minor one yet in recent times.

Chicago has sent defenseman Dennis Robertson to Carolina in exchange for goalie Drew MacIntyre in a swap of AHL players, the team announced Monday, hours before the trade deadline.

The 32-year-old MacIntyre has an 11-13-1 mark with a 3.09 goals against average and .890 save percentage at AHL Charlotte this season. He was originally a fourth-round pick by the Red Wings in 2001.

The 24-year-old Robertson had five points in 37 at AHL Rockford this season. He was originally selected in the sixth round by the Maple Leafs in 2011.
