Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews Activated From IR, Set To Return Against Rangers
(CBS) The Blackhawks activated center Jonathan Toews from the injured reserve ahead of Tuesday evening's road game against the New York Rangers.
Toews had missed the past nine games with a back injury he suffered on Nov. 23. Toews has four goals and eight assists in 21 games this season.
Additionally, Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook is set to return Tuesday as well after missing the past two games with what was believed to be a head injury.
