Blackhawks Goalie Scott Darling Lends A Hand To A Man In Need While On Road Trip
(CBS) During a recent road trip to the Phoenix area that saw the Blackhawks earn a 5-4 overtime win against the Coyotes last Thursday, Chicago backup goalie Scott Darling lended a helping hand to a man in need.
In a story first posted on @KVanGate38's Twitter account and since confirmed by Darling himself, Darling paid for a month's rent at a hotel for a down-on-his-luck man. Darling also bought the individual groceries. The gestures came after Darling had met the man on the street.
