Blackhawks Exchange AHL Players With Ducks

(CBS) The Blackhawks made their second minor move of Monday when they swapped AHL players with the Ducks.

Chicago sent forward Corey Tropp to Anaheim and received forward Tim Jackman and a 2017 seventh-round pick in return.

The 34-year-old Jackman appeared in two games for the Ducks this season and had recorded two points in 22 games at AHL San Diego, where the Blackhawks have assigned him to remain. Jackman played in nine playoffs games for the Ducks last season and was originally a second-round pick by the Blue Jackets in 2001.

Tropp, 26, had 28 points in 51 games at AHL Albany this season. He was acquired in the trade that sent Brandon Saad to Columbus in late June.
