Blackhawks Are So Popular, They're Even Selling T-Shirts In Israel

CHICAGO (CBS) -- You wouldn't think ice hockey would be a very popular sport in the desert, but as a shirt in the crowd for Thursday's Blackhawks parade proved, the team is drawing fans in Israel.

Fans cheers along Monroe Street reached ear-splitting levels as the team buses drove along the parade route, and Brent Seabrook hoisted the Stanley Cup for all to see.

University of Illinois student Tori Weinstein was cheering at LaSalle Street, wearing a Blackhawks shirt most in the crowd couldn't read.

"It's Hebrew. I speak Hebrew. The shirt's from Israel. So we're trying to support the team from another country," she said. "My friend brought it back for us, when they went to travel Israel."

She admitted it's one of the coolest gifts she ever received.
