Blackhawks Add Daniel Carcillo To Camp Roster

(CBS) The Blackhawks have added forward Daniel Carcillo to their training camp roster, they announced Friday morning. Carcillo played with Chicago in the 2011-'12 and 2012-'13 seasons.

The 29-year-old Carcillo tallied five points, 121 hits and 100 penalty minutes in a combined 57 games for the Kings and Rangers last season.

In 2012-'13, Carcillo tallied three points in 23 games for Chicago.

The Blackhawks now have 29 players on their roster -- 16 forward, 10 defensemen and three goalies. They will dress 20 for regular-season games. They conclude their preseason slate tonight against the Rangers.

Chicago still needs to make a move to trim about $2.2 million off its salary cap before Thursday's regular-season opener at Dallas.
