Blackhawks Acquire Forward Tomas Jurco

(CBS) The Blackhawks have added some depth, acquiring forward Tomas Jurco from the Red Wings in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Jurco, 24, has predominantly played the right wing in Detroit, where he has scored 15 goals and 24 assists in 159 career NHL games.

In conjunction with the move, the Blackhawks have assigned forward Vinnie Hinostroza to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.

The Blackhawks return to action on Sunday when they host the rival Blues at the United Center.
