Beverly Native Helped Produce Commercial For Doritos Contest

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 22-year-old native of Chicago's Beverly neighborhood has helped produce a commercial that's a finalist in Doritos' "Crash the Super Bowl" contest.

The commercial is titled "Cowboy Kid" and it's one of five finalists in the Doritos contest.

Mike Cullen grew up in Beverly, got some improv training at the Beverly Arts Center, graduated from Columbia College. And he's now in Hollywood - and got the chance to be a production assistant on "Cowboy Kid."

"The shoot went very smoothly for having dogs and kids on set. They shot it in two days and finished early each day."

At one point in the commercial, a kid rides a dog like a horse.

WBBM: Did the kid actually ride the dog?

"No that's all green screen."

If "Cowboy Kid" gets the most votes, it'll be aired during the Super Bowl. And Cullen gets a part of the team's one-million dollar prize.

"I would really urge anyone listening to vote for "Cowboy Kid."
