Man Found Dead In Vehicle In Belmont Cragin

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found dead inside a vehicle early Friday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Ramon Ramirez, 65, was found unresponsive with "possible trauma" at 1:02 a.m. in the 5700 block of West Grand Avenue, Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.

Ramirez, who lived in the same block, was pronounced dead at 2:55 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office. An autopsy to determine cause and manner of his death is scheduled for Friday.

Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.
