Bears Sign OL Mike Adams, Waive OL Nick Becton

(CBS) The Bears made a move regarding their second-string offensive line unit Wednesday, releasing backup left tackle Nick Becton and signing offensive lineman Mike Adams.

Adams played in 41 games for the Steelers from 2012 to 2014, starting 20 times, before sitting out the entire 2015 season with a back injury. Pittsburgh drafted him out of Ohio State in the second round in 2012.

Becton spent the 2015 season with the Bears after he split time between their practice squad and that of the Giants in 2014.
