Bears Sign FB Fiammetta, Add QB Fales To Practice Squad

(CBS) -- The Bears have signed fullback Tony Fiammetta and added quarterback David Fales to their practice squad.

Fiammetta, who has played six seasons, has 11 carries for 26 yards and 12 receptions for 130 yards in 50 games played with 24 starts. He was  just recently cut by Chicago, as it had to make roster moves with so many injuries heading into Sunday's win at San Francisco. Fiammetta has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Without him, the Bears have used almost exclusively one-back sets, as he's the only true fullback on the team.

Fales was selected by the Bears in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of San Jose State. Over two seasons at San Jose State, Fales started all 25 contests. He initially made the Bears' 53-man roster out of training camp but was released as the Bears shuffled their roster because of injuries.
