Bears Sign CB Sherrick McManis To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Bears have signed cornerback and special teamer Sherrick McManis to a one-year deal, they announced Wednesday.

The 5-foot-11 McManis, 27, appeared in 12 games for Chicago in 2014, recording 10 tackles. He mainly played special teams, though he did get some playing time at cornerback as Chicago dealt with an array of injuries.

McManis has 54 special teams tackles in his five-year NFL career.
