Bears Sign C Hroniss Grasu To 4-Year Deal

(CBS) The Bears have signed third-round draft pick Hroniss Grasu, a center from Oregon, to a four-year deal, they announced Friday morning.

The Bears now have their entire six-man draft class signed and ready to go for the start of this morning's rookie mini-camp.

At Oregon, Grasu was a three-time member of the Pac-12 first-team all-conference squad and a finalist for the Rimington Trophy as a junior and senior. He was also named an All-American in 2013 and 2014.

Grasu figures to compete with Will Montgomery for the starting center job on the Bears.
