Bears Re-Sign Receiver Deonte Thompson To 1-Year Deal

(CBS) The Bears have re-signed receiver Deonte Thompson to a one-year deal, they announced Thursday.

The 28-year-old Thompson had 22 catches for 249 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games in 2016. He also served as a kick returner for Chicago, averaging 23.0 yards per return.

Thompson has spent the past two seasons with the Bears.
