Bears RB Jordan Howard Practices In Full, Not Listed On Injury Report

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) It remains to be seen whether Bears running back Jordan Howard will be limited by a shoulder ailment against the Steelers on Sunday, but the team isn't listing him on its injury report.

Howard practiced in full Friday at Halas Hall for the first time since suffering the injury while scoring a touchdown in the regular-season opener on Sept. 10. He rushed for just seven yards on nine carries in  a29-7 loss to the Buccaneers last Sunday.

Howard is set to play this Sunday, but his offensive line has questions of its own. Guard Kyle Long (ankle) is also off the injury report and is set to make his season debut, but guard Josh Sitton (ribs) is listed as doubtful and interior lineman Tom Compton (hip) is questionable. Bradley Sowell is likely to move into right guard if Sitton and Compton are unable to play.

Cornerback Prince Amukamara is also off the injury report after his ankle has been cleared for game action. Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski won't play, but his pectoral injury won't require surgery and is less severe than the pectoral injury that linebacker Jerrell Freeman suffered, Bears coach John Fox told reporters Friday at Halas Hall

Kickoff between the Bears and Steelers comes at noon Sunday from Soldier Field.
