Bears Notes: Briggs, Conte Ruled Out Of Sunday's Game

(CBS) Bears starting safety Chris Conte and starting linebacker Lance Briggs have both been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Dolphins at Soldier Field.

Conte continues to deal with a shoulder injury that has played a large role in him having to leave four of Chicago's six games this season. Briggs is dealing with a rib injury. Danny McCray and rookie Brock Vereen have been rotating in place of Conte in practice.

Fellow linebacker Jon Bostic (back) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday. If healthy, he'd likely start for Briggs, otherwise Khaseem Greene figures to fill the spot.

Linebacker Shea McClellin (hand), linebacker D.J. Williams (neck), defensive back Sherrick McManis (quad/knee), offensive tackle Jordan Mills (foot) and offensive tackle Jermon Bushrod (knee) are all listed as probable.
