Bears Make Minor Roster Moves

(CBS) The Bears have elevated running back Raheem Mostert to their active roster and signed linebacker Ronald Powell to the practice squad, they announced Wednesday.

The moves came a day after Chicago released fullback Paul Lasike from its 53-man roster.

Mostert appeared in 11 games for the Browns, Ravens and Dolphins in 2015, most notably returning 19 kickoffs for an average of 27.9 yards. He had spent time on the Jets' practice squad this season before joining the bears last week.

Powell is a third-year pro who appeared in 14 games with the Saints across 2014 and 2015.
