Bears Make Minor Roster Moves

(CBS) The Bears made a pair of minor roster moves Tuesday.

Chicago elevated receiver Deonte Thompson from the practice squad to the active roster and signed tackle Martin Wallace to the practice squad. This came after news broke that tackle Tayo Fabuluje had been suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs, which landed him on the reserve/suspended by the commissioner list.

Thompson has been on Chicago's practice squad for the past seven weeks after appearing in 14 games with Baltimore and Buffalo over the last three seasons. He had 15 catches in that stretch.

Wallace joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Browns after attending Temple. He was on the Panthers' practice squad for most of 2015 and spent time with the Bucs on their practice squad this season.
