Bears' Jay Cutler Set For Induction To Vanderbilt Hall Of Fame

(CBS) Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will be inducted into the Vanderbilt Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday night. Along with eight other former Vanderbilt athletes, Cutler will be honored by his alma mater.

Cutler was Vanderbilt's all-time leader in passing yards with 8,697, touchdowns with 59 and completions with 710 when he left school. He was named SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2005.

Cutler was a three-year captain at Vanderbilt and left as one of the program's greatest players before being drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 11th pick of the 2006 NFL Draft.

In 2009, Cutler was traded to Chicago, where he became the Bears' leader in touchdown passes with 150 this past season.
