Bears Hire Terry Cousin As Director Of Player Engagement

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have hired former Bears cornerback Terry Cousin as director of player engagement.

The 12 -year NFL veteran Cousin played for the Bears from 97-99 and spent the past two seasons as director of player engagement for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cousin also previously worked as the director of player development at the University of South Carolina, his alma mater.

While with the Buccaneers, Cousin set up a program called Buccaneer University to help players with continuing education and to assist with NFL Player Benefits.
