Bears Family Fest, Lolla Highlight Busy Weekend In Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Great weather and plenty of festivals make this a weekend to celebrate in Chicago and tens of thousands are enjoying the parties.
At Bears Family Fest, the big draw is a chance to watch the Bears practice here at Soldier Field Saturday night.
CBS 2's Vince Gerasole reports fans were enjoying all sorts of games and attractions Saturday afternoon, bouncing all over the place in anticipation for the Bears' evening practice.
Of course the major draw this weekend is in Grant Park with the tenth Chicago edition of Lollapalooza, featuring 130 bands on eight stages. Big names like Lorde and Eminem will bring 300,000 music lovers through the gates by the end of the weekend
And not to be outdone, travel over to Pilsen for Fiesta Del Sol featuring food, music and amusement rides. The four day festival is billed as one of the largest in the Midwest, drawing over a million visitors for four days.
