Bears Elevate TE Blake Annen From Practice Squad

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have elevated tight end Blake Annen to the 53 man roster from the practice squad and placed guard Matt Slauson on the injured reserve list.

Annen signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2014. In four seasons at the University of Cincinnati, Adden appeared in 45 games and had 19 catches for 218 yards and two touchdowns.

Slauson suffered a pectoral injury in the Bears' 51-23 loss to the New England Patriots and was ruled out for the season.
