Bears Elevate LB Terrell Manning To 53-Man Roster, Waive S Shamiel Gary

(CBS) -- The Chicago Bears have elevated linebacker Terrell Manning tot he 53-man roster from the practice squad. The Bears waived safety Shamiel Gary to make room on the roster.

Last season, Manning appeared in two games on special teams for the Bears. He previously played with the San Diego Chargers and Green bay Packers. The move comes as linebacker D.J. Williams was downgraded from probable to questionable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
