Bears Elevate De'Vante Bausby To Active Roster, Sign 2 To Practice Squad

(CBS) The Bears have elevated cornerback De'Vante Bausby from the practice squad to the active roster in a series of Monday moves.

Cornerback Demontre Hurst has been waived, while receiver Darius Jennings and tight end Marcel Jensen were signed to the practice squad. Additionally, the Bears placed tight end Busta Anderson on the practice squad injured list.

Elevating Bausby may perhaps be an indication to the status of cornerback Bryce Callahan, who left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.

The Bears are off on Tuesday. They return to work Wednesday in preparation of their contest with the Jaguars on Sunday.
