LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) -- The Bears have drafted their third defensive back, selecting William & Mary safety DeAndre Houston-Carson with their sixth-round pick at 185th overall in the NFL Draft on Saturday.

Houston-Carson stands at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds. A Virginia native, he was a consensus FCS All-American in 2015, the third in William & Mary's program history.

Houston-Carson played both cornerback and safety at William & Mary. He was a standout specialist returner who also blocked nine kicks and punts.

Chicago has made defense a priority during this draft, making Houston-Carson its sixth defensive player drafted through six rounds.
