Bears DL Coach Pasqualoni Works Out Florida DT Dominique Easley

By Adam Hoge-

(CBS) -- Dominique Easley is trying to prove he's still a worthy of being a first round pick in next month's NFL Draft.

The former Florida Gators defensive tackle is one of the most talented players in the draft, but he battled injuries throughout his college career, including an ACL and meniscus tear in September. In fact, he tore both of his ACLs during his time at Florida.

In need of a young defensive tackle, it's no surprise that the Bears were at Easley's workout in Gainsville, Fla. Thursday. The workout was open to coaches and scouts from all NFL teams, but according to Florida Gators' reporter Jeff Barlis, Bears defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni ran some of the drills.

This photo from Barlis shows Pasqualoni working out with Easley:

You can read my scouting report on Easley here. With his injury history, it would be hard to take the Gators defensive tackle 14th overall, but if he's still there at No. 51 in the second round, Easley would be hard to pass up.
