Bears' Alshon Jeffery Back On Injury Report

By Chris Emma--

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) -- Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery is injured again.

Following Wednesday's practice inside the Walter Payton Center, coach John Fox listed the receiver as sidelined for the practice with a calf injury. Jeffery has spent much of this season on the injury report.

Jeffery has missed five games this season with injuries to his calf, hamstring and groin. This 2015 campaign was to be a crucial year for Jeffery, who's in the final year of his contract. Jeffery has 53 catches and three touchdowns in eight games this season. His longest reception of the year came on a 50-yard strike from quarterback Jay Cutler during Sunday's 24-21 loss to Washington.

Additionally, Fox announced that tight end Zach Miller (illness) and cornerbacks Bryce Callahan (quad) and Sherrick McManis (concussion) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, while linebacker Pernell McPhee and defensive tackle Will Sutton were limited.

Chicago plays at Minnesota on Sunday at noon.
