Bears' Alshon Jeffery Active Against Vikings

By Chris Emma--

MINNEAPOLIS (CBS) -- Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings, as are linebacker Pernell McPhee and tight end Zach Miller.

Jeffery was hampered by an illness and calf injury this week but did practice in a limited role on Friday. He was at risk of missing his sixth game this season. Jeffery has 53 catches for 797 yards and three touchdowns in eight games this season.

The Bears' inactives are Bryce Callahan, Jacoby Glenn, Antone Smith, Christian Jones, Nick Becton, Tayo Fabuluje and Cameron Meredith.

Jones is a healthy inactive, with John Timu starting in his spot. Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Jones has been inconsistent.
