Bargain Hunters Now Have A 'Cyber Week' To Clinch Good Deals

(CBS) -- We've seen the creep of Black Friday, as the shopping season starts earlier and earlier each year.

Now, get ready for the Cyber Monday stretch. CBS 2's Dorothy Tucker explains how Cyber Monday is morphing into Cyber Week.

Retailers like Kohl's are promoting seven days of online deals. However, if you miss Cyber Week, not to worry. There are still other hot cyber shopping days on the horizon.

Lisa Fortino is stocking up at the Kohl's Bucktown store, but she's already stocked up online, taking advantage of Cyber Monday sales.

She is among the many Cyber Monday shoppers expected to spend some $2.5 billion before the day was over.

The next big online shopping day is Dec. 18—Free Shipping Day.

The Saturday before Christmas, Dec. 20, will also be big.

"Retailers will be promoting a lot of deals online, and they're going to offer discounts on expedited shipping, if they don't offer it for free," consumer savings expert Andrea Woroch says.

And to maximize your savings, don't forget online coupons. You'll find them on the retailers' sites.

"Also, check out the retailer's Twitter and Facebook pages. They'll have coupon codes there as well," Woroch says.

You can also sign up for a retailers' newsletter. They often give online coupon codes to new clients.
