Bank Robbed In North Riverside

(STMW) -- A bank in west suburban North Riverside was robbed Friday afternoon.

The West Town Savings bank at 7820 W. 26th Street was robbed at 4:23 p.m., according to the FBI's BanditTracker website.

No weapons were used or displayed during the incident, which the FBI described as a "non-takeover bank robbery."

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9,

190-pound Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes and a light complexion, according to the FBI.

Surveillance photos show him wearing a Chicago Cubs jersey and a baseball cap.
