Bank Robbed In Edgewater
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A TCF Bank branch was robbed Sunday afternoon in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.
The bank branch at 5516 N. Clark St. was robbed about 12:15 p.m., FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.
A male walked into the bank, demanded money and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. It was not immediately known whether a weapon was shown.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
The FBI and Chicago Police are investigating.
