OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — Travon Baker scored 16, including the game-winning layup with three seconds left, to lead Northern Illinois past Miami (Ohio) 69-67 on Wednesday night.

The game featured 21 lead changes and 12 ties.

Aaric Armstead and Anthony Johnson scored 12 points apiece for Northern Illinois (9-11, 3-6), which shot 52 percent from the field and made as many free throws (16) as Miami attempted.
