Authorities ID Bank Robbery Suspect Who Struck In Western Suburbs

(CBS) – Authorities say they think they know who robbed an Elmhurst bank Wednesday, which prompted police to put two local schools on lockdown while officers searched for the suspect.

Police say the suspect walked into the Inland Bank on Spring Road and handed the teller a note demanding money. When he got it, he took off on foot.

FBI agents think the suspect is Christopher Stephen.

They also think he robbed another Inland Bank branch, in Lombard, on Monday.
