Aurora, Illinois Shooting At Henry Pratt: What We Know So Far

(CBS) --  Five people were fatally shot in a workplace shooting in Aurora on Friday. The gunman, Gary Martin, is dead.

Here is what we know so far:

>The shooting was first reported around 1:40 p.m.  Aurora police called for "as many ambulances as possible."

>Five police officers were injured responding to the shooting. The exact number of civilians who were wounded was not immediately known.  The police officers were stabilized at area hospitals. Three were shot in the leg or hip, another in the neck and a fifth in the eye. A sixth officer injured his knee. CBS 2's Tara Molina reports at least seven people have been treated at local hospitals, including the four police officers.

>Henry Pratt, 401 S Highland Ave, makes a variety of valves.  Employees heard several shots and have sheltered inside the building all afternoon.

>Witnesses say the shooter was a current employee of the company.

> Nearby schools were placed on lock down, but that lock down was lifted after police "neutralized" the suspect.
