Aurora Police Investigate Series Of Message Threats

(CBS) -- Police in Aurora are looking into mysterious and threatening messages that were placed throughout the city last weekend.

Police say hundreds of small cards were placed in different locations, including the Fox Valley shopping mall, churches in West Chicago and South Barrington, and a movie theater in South Barrington.

"It's obvious we have to take anything that even resembles any kind of threat very seriously," said police spokesman Dan Ferrelli.
