Ashburn Infant Dies From Child Abuse Injuries

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The death of a 2-month-old boy in the Ashburn neighborhood has been ruled a homicide.

Bryson Holman, of the 3200 block of West 83rd Place, was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m. Saturday at his home, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Police said officers responding to a 911 call found the boy unresponsive at the home.

An autopsy Sunday determined he died of multiple injuries caused by abuse, and his death was classified a homicide.

Area South detectives were investigating. No one was in custody Sunday afternoon.
